WHAT WE DO
In our aim to create healthy marriages across Ghana, we run two main programs:
Education and capacity building: we accomplish this through training, advocacy and awareness creation. It focuses on how to identify and avoid marry an abuser and how to survive an abusive relationship. Some members of the girls clubs are trained to be educators and ambassadors in their communities and in schools.
Others: the youth is also educated on their sexual and reproductive health rights both in schools and in the communities.
Anti-violence program: This comprises of the crisis desk, the community awareness program and the counseling desk. These desks respond to violence against women and girls and support survivors of such violence. They also undertake community outreach and awareness activities on issues of sexual and gender –based violence in schools, religious institutions, community groups and whole communities.
